Cookies

This page is about the Bookywooky website. The Bookywooky app has its own analytics setting, explained in our Privacy Policy.
What we use
| Category | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Necessary | Remembers your cookie choice (the CookieConsent cookie, set by our consent provider Cookiebot, for 12 months). Always on. Cookiebot also keeps a record of your choice, including a refusal, for 12 months. |
| Preferences | Not used at the moment. |
| Statistics | Google Analytics, only if you accept: the _ga and _ga_EFFC2Y29J0 cookies, which stay on your device for up to 2 years, so we can count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. Google keeps the statistics linked to your visits for 14 months. |
| Marketing | Not used. If that changes, we will update this page and ask you before any marketing cookie is set. |
Scripts that load on every visit
Scripts from two providers load before you choose, and neither sets a cookie until you do: Cookiebot, which shows the cookie banner, and Google Tag Manager, which starts Google Analytics only after you accept statistics cookies. Loading them means Cookiebot and Google receive your browser’s standard request details, such as your IP address.
Changing your mind
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to accept, reject or change your choice. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops straight away and its cookies are removed. You can also clear cookies in your browser.
